Species description: Ascended are humans who have gained favour of the deities of TAS, raised above their mortal beginnings to become powerful new beings. Ascended take on the form they wish at their initial ascension and retain it as well as whatever powers have been bestowed upon them.
Powers: Energy: The ability to manipulate and generate electricity- often turning into a lightening bolt to travel speedily around TAS.
Animorph: Ability to turn into a simple black cat.
Job: Overseer of TAS maternity ward.
Appearance: Atrus usually wears a completely brown getup- Akubra hat, trench coat, long-sleeved shirt, trousers, shoes (he likes the earthiness of it). He's 6 feet tall with blond hair, blue eyes and a very well groomed goatee.
Personality: Atrus, can seem a bit lazy- especially with the abandonment TAS has been of late. He's slow to get into work and will often complain about it especially when he hasn't worked in a long while, but when h does get down to it, he's a focused and very serious individual- a perfectionist often to the infuriation of those around him.
He is a believer of justice and order, often taking the law into his own hands with a heavy but even hand.
History: From humble beginnings, Atrus started out as a mere human in the land of TAS, a native if you will. He timidly began his life as a prospective news reporter and had a promising future in that until his efforts were focused at the maternity wards one day. His single minded focus in that busy place earned him a reputation and eventually the favour of the TAS deities who eventually ascended him and entrusted the new lives birthed in TAS into his care.
Atrus kept himself busy and eventually met the angel who would become his wife there- although their initial relationship was confrontational at best.
Lately, Atrus has been enjoying laying about TAS, basking in the sun as a black cat, trying to avoid the work his wife has been getting him to do around TAS. It's a hard life being a cat.
